Stores Officer – Novotel Brighton Beach

We are seeking a Full Time Stores Officer to ensure that all goods received to the hotel are in accordance with quantities and quality required, that everything is accounted for and stock is properly stored and safely delivered to our hotel departments.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE: 

  • Implementing quality control techniques and procedures
  • Being responsible for the stores and loading dock area of the hotel, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the space
  • Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores and operations in a professional manner
  • Maintaining control registers including inventory control and being responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of regular reports on stock movements and dispatches
  • Overseeing the receipt and delivery of goods, recording outgoing goods and use of the Purchasing online system.

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Previous experience working in a Stores environment
  • Previous experience using purchase plus is highly desirable
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • High organisation skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to be working on multiple tasks and to meet deadlines
  • Manual handling experience and the ability to work safely in a physical role
  • Experience using purchasing programs and software (beneficial)
